With the new year comes spring cleaning. The older I get the more I’m learning to let go of physical objects and past memorabilia. I try hard to not be a hoarder, but I also have many, many tools, equipment, and supplies that serve as means to an end, and not the end itself. Yet, the ever looming wildfires not too far away is a constant reminder of the non-permanence of any physical object. A cleaner space is a cleaner mind.
And on a related note – reviewing emergency preparedness is next on the agenda this new year.
